Yes. You must hold valid credentials for the installation you are traveling to or from. Your driver is independently credentialed to reach the base, but you are responsible for your own access at the gate. We coordinate both sides; we do not sponsor, escort, or vouch you through.
Gate authority always belongs to the installation. If either party is denied, the ride cannot proceed. If payment has not been captured, no ride charge is collected. If payment has already been captured for a ride that cannot legally proceed, we review the event and issue the appropriate refund or adjustment.
The driver. Drivers are independent, credentialed operators who carry their own commercial insurance and hold liability for the ride at all times. Base Access Logistics is a booking and coordination service. We vet, match, coordinate, and handle payment. We are not a transport carrier and do not assume carrier liability.
Not during the pilot. New riders can request a quote without paying an account setup fee. If a verification or onboarding fee is introduced later, it will be shown before booking.
You get a flat quote before you book. No surge pricing, no meter, no haggling at pickup. Quotes are based on pickup, destination, timing, passenger count, luggage, special handling, gate coordination, and credentialed-driver availability.
Cancel before driver assignment without a charge. Once a driver is assigned, any cancellation fee is confirmed before payment is collected. If the ride cannot proceed because the gate denies access, we review the event and handle refunds or adjustments case by case.
When you book, your payment is held in escrow. It is released to the driver only after the trip is completed and closed out. That protects you as a rider and guarantees the driver gets paid on time.
Your driver confirms the ride details and presents identification at pickup, every time, so you know who is behind the wheel before the ride begins.
Yes, when capacity and driver availability allow it. Add luggage, accessibility, secure delivery, early, or late timing notes in special requests and we will confirm them before the ride is booked.
Travel patterns of service members are sensitive, and we treat them that way. We collect only what is needed to coordinate your ride and verify credentials, store it securely, keep it only as long as needed to run the service, and never sell it. See our Privacy Policy for detail.
